Diagnostic Chart Examples

Creating charts while gearing up for a revision can help you find where there may be loose threads.  If there is a block in the first two charts you can't answer (without good reason) mark it with a highlighter and then see if you can strengthen what is missing.




A foil is a character who is so different by contrast highlights the differences in the attributes of another character. You can also adapt the plot/subplot evolution chart to be a character theme evolution chart.
